THE CONCEPT OF STRESS MANAGEMENT
The biggest asset of a company is its workforce. However,
the pressures of meeting deliverables, putting in long
working hours and working across time zones create a
work-life imbalance which begins to take its toll on the
health of employees. Other factors such as long commuting
hours and chaotic traffic conditions add to their stress.
Stress is the great thief, which steals time from our life
span. It is the unseen mugger, which robs us of precious
days, weeks, months and years unless we take action to
protect ourselves.
Surveys indicate that 70-90% of all doctor visits are due
to stress related problems including: backache, headaches
and migraines, insomnia, anxiety attacks, cardiovascular
disease, chest pains, hypertension, allergies, and
gastrointestinal complaints. According to the U. S.
Department of Health and Human Services, job stress costs
companies over 150 billion dollars in claims, absenteeism,
and direct medical expenses. Stress affects the employee’s
efficiency and effectiveness. It can undermine the
employee’s relationship at home as well as on the job.
This can have a negative influence on their physical and
emotional health – which in turn impacts their
performance. Therefore, the need of effective Stress
management programmer for your work force is required who
can guide and teach your employees valuable information and
practical exercises designed for stress relief, to better
control worry and anxiety; cope with life’s problems, and
reduce pressure from work.

Experiences—I have been working in the medical field
since 1994. I have worked in many medical institutions and
presently working in Maharaja Agersen Hospital, Punjabi
Bagh, New Delhi. I have done fellowship in Lifestyle
Medicines from Apollo Hospitals associated with Harvard
Medical School, Boston, U.S.A. apart from that I have done 3
Yrs Diploma in Nature Care and yogic Science and been
consultant at D.R.Nature Care Hospital. Of all my
experiences I can give lectures and Workshops in Stress
Management, which I believe can be highly beneficial for
your esteem institution. Apart from myself, if required, I
have a group of highly experienced Doctors who can take care
of all the medicine side of any medical problems.
Eliminating all stress is impossible, but after sessions
